DAIRYING

There is but one dairy we believe, in Yakima county; that of SMITH brothers in Kittitas valley. They milk something near 100 head of cows during the summer, but are only milking some 29 head this winter. They make the gilt edge kind at that ranch.
(This was the only article in the paper regarding the Kittitas area, perhaps because of Christmas Eve.)
