Visit to Wanapum Heritage Center (Society Meetings)

On May 16, 2026, all interested members from KCGS are to meet at the southwest corner of the Safeway parking lot at 12 noon, if they want ride sharing, to go to the Native American Heritage Center at Priest Rapids Dam. We will leave at 12:30 PM, hopefully arriving at 1:30 PM. Our program will be at 2:30 PM, and our presenter will be Angela Neller, museum curator and KCGS member.

Wanapum Native Americans live in the vicinity of Priest Rapids Dam. They have a beautiful museum built that we will drive to and enjoy. A program will be presented by Angela Neller at 2:30 PM. There will be ride sharing.

	Monday, June 1 Board Meeting (Board Meeting) 11:00 am 413 N Main Street, Suite L Ellensburg, Washington 98926 Board members will discuss upcoming programs and other business. KCGS members may also attend.

	Monday, June 8 Picnic at the Genealogy Library (Society Meetings) 12:30 pm 413 N Main Street, Suite L Ellensburg, Washington 98926 Make your sandwiches at home and bring something to drink. We will beat the weather by having it indoors this year!

	Monday, July 6 Board Meeting (Board Meeting) 11:00 am 413 N Main Street, Suite L Ellensburg, Washington 98926 Board members discuss upcoming programs and other business. Open to KCGS members to attend if interested.

	Monday, July 13 Choosing a Family Tree Design, by Erik Bakke (Society Meetings) 1:30 pm 413 N Main Street, Suite L Ellensburg, Washington 98926 Erik Bakke, our past president, will present our program Choosing a Family Tree Design.
