After the usual business meeting, Erik Bakke will present the April presentation about historylink.org, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in February 2024. It is the first and largest encyclopedia of regional history created expressly for the Internet. It is a constantly evolving and changing online encyclopedia of Washington State history, and the writers are Washingtonians, writing about Washington, searching through the state's rich archival resources, bringing us Washington's history. As of 2024, HistoryLink.org features more than 8,200 original articles. It is a work in progress, with new features being added all the time.
As usual, guests are also welcome at our meetings and presenations. Lite refreshments will also be available during the break. Hope to see you Monday, April 8th at 1:30pm.
