     Rootstech, one of the more exciting events of the year for genealogists is taking place next month, February 25 to Feburary 27. This is an annual event that usually takes place in Salt Lake City every year. It is three days of keynote speakers and a large variety of genealogical classes by the best experts in the country. We are very lucky this year in that because of covid,  Rootstech next month will be offered 100% online and will be free. Usually to attend Rootstech you would incur airfare, meals and hotel costs to go to Salt Lake City. These costs would be in addition to what it normally costs to attend the three days of classes, around $300. Now you can pick and chose classes and presentations and view then from the comfort of your home for no charge.

     The class schedule is not posted yet, but is expected to be out next week. To register (free) just go to Rootstech.org and fill in the form. You can sign up for individual classes later. Also on this webiste are videos of the presentations from the last two years.
