The October 9th KCGS general meeting will feature a presentation by Bill Bowden on the use of city and area directories for genealogy research in the 1800s and early 1900s. It will show how these resources, from Canada and the US, provided the entire basis for discovery of a key ancestor family for Bill.
Lite refreshments will also be available to attendees. Parking is available in the Daily Record lot just to the west of the KCGS Library office in the Reed Building. Enter through the back door of the building. Hope to see you on Monday, October 9th at 1:30 pm.
